This is a picture of Ashtyn with her over the top awesome doctor, Adam Lamble and her fabulous research nurse Gen. Today has been such a great day! In my opinion, happiness is 100% Attitude, 0% Situation. For me that has been the case over and over again. Yesterday I was down, wishing for life circumstances I don't have. Today I am so happy, pinching myself for the life circumstances I do have. I have an almost 18 year old son who is feeling joy as he's serving others, working hard, and meeting so many people in Florida. I have a 15 year old daughter and an 11 year son who are tenacious and selfless. I have a 17 year old daughter who has remarkable health despite having leukemia and is currently feeling content with this 3rd fight. We have family, friends, and supporters who we feel so much love from. My life is full and my blessing cup is overflowing. Today we spent five hours at the hospital for labs and a red blood cell transfusion. You would have had so much fun being there with us today. The nurses, medical assistants, nurse practitioners, doctors, and staff are so cool to get to know and talk to. They are inspiring, upbeat, positive, and so friendly. One of my heroes, President Gordon B. Hinckley once said, "Don’t be gloomy. Do not dwell on unkind things. Stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. Even if you are not happy, put a smile on your face. ‘Accentuate the positive.’ Look a little deeper for the good. Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, with great and strong purpose in your heart. Love life." I love my life. Your thoughts and prayers are being felt. Thank you.
