One year ago today I was sitting on a couch bed at Primary Children’s Hospital with Ashtyn thinking about Chandler, Morgan, and Ethan who were in California for our yearly trip to Disneyland and Morgan’s cheer competition. At the time Ashtyn was on Day 37 of being in the hospital recovering from a bone marrow transplant so we were unable to be together as a family for Spring Break. Tonight I'm sitting in bed at the Ronald McDonald House with Ashtyn thinking about Morgan and Ethan who are again in California for Spring Break, Disneyland, and Morgan’s cheer competition while Chandler’s in Florida on a mission. Ashtyn is on Day 34 of being in Seattle hoping to get cancer free this month to do another bone marrow transplant. We are unable to be together as a family for Spring Break again and I feel content. We're all exactly where we should be.
